What is it.....?

A formal challenge to all racers to run the fastest lap on a preselected and posted track!

How does it work.....?

Each week a new set of tracks will be posted, 1 Supercross track and 1 National, a Steamer and a Special Track....

The challenge is to be the quickest posted lap on the givin track for the week!

What CC you choose to run is your choice, it is open to all classes 125-600cc!

On occasion the CC will be limited, but that will be posted when the new tracks for the week are selected.

The WINNER, will be REQUIRED to "Post a Ghost" on the TTM site for the track within 24 hours of the announced win! If you win on a track ANY TRACK, and your time is say a 1:08.01 as the winning time, then the only accepted ghost will be a 1:09.01 ghost or faster it must be within 1 second of the winning time!

For instance again if your winning time is 1:23.99 then the winning ghost must be 1:24.99 or faster!

The winner will be posted for the week along with the track link and his winning ghost link!

If for ANY reason the winner does not post his/her ghost on time, he/she will not be allowed to participate in the Hot Lap Contest in the future, in which case the runner up (2nd place) will become the winner and required to post a ghost following the regular rules! So if you are in the top 3 please watch the contest area closely to see if we call on you for the winning ghost!

Posting Times.......?

ALL TIMES POSTED for the weekly Hot Lap tracks, will post to the contest link ONLY, so do not look for your lap in the regular post area. These times will NOT be moved to the regular post area after the week is finished, they will remain only in the contest area!

Track selection.......?

We will play this part by ear as we see how the contest plays out, but the plan for now is to let the slowest posted lap time on the track of the week, will be asked to suggest a track for the next week! For the 1st few weeks until we get all the bugs worked out, track selection may be decided by the Contest Moderator!
